Media personality Toke Makinwa has stepped out to share her experience of being pregnant, describing how it paralleled that of her best friend, fashion designer Toju Foyeh.
Makinwa admitted to being scared of being the oldest mom in her circle and worried that her child would lack friends among her friends’ kids. But since both women were pregnant concurrently, she swears it’s proof that “God always gives you what you need.”
“Having my sister-friend @tojufoyeh experience this journey with me is a reminder that God will always give you what you need.”. I always dreaded being the oldest in the room, and my child having no friends in my circle, but look at God. Our kids get to grow up together and do that called life with each other. Well done, my sister and friend Toju… Who would have ever thought? Life just got better,” she said.
