A wave of grief has swept through Lubo community in Yamaltu-Deba Local Government Area of Gombe State following the tragic murder of Reverend Bala Galadima, the presiding pastor of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) worship center in the area. Reverend Galadima was reportedly attacked and killed in the early hours of Monday at his residence by suspected armed robbers.
Reacting to the incident, Governor Inuwa Yahaya condemned the killing in strong terms, describing it as a brutal assault on the peace and security of the state. In a statement issued by his media aide, Isma’ila Uba Misilli, the governor directed security agencies to track down those responsible and ensure justice is served.
Governor Yahaya reassured residents that such acts of violence would not be allowed to disrupt the state’s peaceful coexistence. He also extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the ECWA Church, and the Christian community, praying for the repose of Reverend Galadima’s soul.
