VDM and Nedu Clash Again Over Scholarship Controversy

The bitter feud between social media critic Vincent Martin Otse (known as Verydarkman or VDM) and online personality Nedu Wazobia has exploded back into the open, this time over accusations of scholarship fraud.

VDM claims he’s spent the last six months digging into what he calls a scam involving the Metropolitan School of Business and Management (MSBM) scholarship program.

He’s now pointing the finger directly at Nedu, saying the media personality used the scholarship scheme to line his own pockets.

In his latest accusations, VDM says his investigation revealed something different from what Nedu’s camp initially claimed.

While Nedu’s wife had said money from the scholarship program went to an event planner, VDM alleges the funds actually ended up in accounts connected to Nedu’s wife in the UK. He says the couple jointly owns two businesses there.

VDM posted his findings online, writing: “After 6 months of doing my research, here is my evidence on how Nedu scammed MSMB—a program that would have opened doors for Nigerians with free scholarships.

Nedu and his team selfishly closed those doors of opportunity.”

The scholarship program was supposed to give Nigerians free educational opportunities abroad.

If VDM’s allegations are true, it means students who could have benefited from genuine scholarships were instead victims of fraud.

VDM didn’t hold back in his criticism, adding: “Like I’ve always said, politicians aren’t the only problem—many Nigerians would do even worse.”
