Great news for Galatasaray fans. Victor Osimhen is back! The Nigerian striker has returned to full training after a two-week injury nightmare that kept him out of action.
The 26-year-old picked up the injury while on international duty with Nigeria during their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Rwanda.
It was a frustrating blow that forced him to watch from the sidelines as his club teammates battled without their star forward.
His absence was certainly felt. While Galatasaray managed to grind out a solid 2-0 victory against Eyupspor, they were handed a reality check in Europe, suffering a bruising 4-1 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt.
But now Osimhen is chomping at the bit to get back into action. The striker could well feature when Galatasaray host Konyaspor at RAMS Park in their next outing.
Despite his limited appearances this season, he’s already shown his class with two goals in just three league games.
The timing couldn’t be better for Okan Buruk’s men, who are flying high in the Turkish Super Lig. They’ve won all five of their league matches so far, sitting pretty at the top of the table without a single defeat.
