Nollywood stars Lizzy Gold and Destiny Etiko, had a falling out over something completely unnecessary and honestly, their reunion story is giving all the feels.

Because of what Lizzy perfectly called “too many ‘them say'” – you know, those whispers and rumors that somehow always find their way into every workplace, but especially in the entertainment industry.
Lizzy got vulnerable on Instagram for Destiny’s birthday, and her post was so raw and honest it felt like reading someone’s diary.
She admitted something a lot of us can relate to: “I became lonely because I don’t make friends easily like you do.”
While Destiny is apparently one of those naturally social people who can walk into any room and make friends, Lizzy is more selective about who she lets into her circle.
So when their friendship ended, it wasn’t just losing a colleague, it was losing one of the few people who truly understood her.
She said she would watch Destiny from afar, wondering how she made connecting with people look so effortless.
“Thank God you realised you were deceived and came back to me.”
Those are powerful words right there. It sounds like Destiny figured out that whatever she’d been told about Lizzy wasn’t the truth, and she was brave enough to come back and fix things.
That takes real maturity and courage, especially when your pride might be telling you to stay stubborn.
Lizzy acknowledged that people might still try to cause problems between them, but they’re just not interested anymore. “We’ve both grown and no longer have time for gossip”.
She also said something beautiful about loving Destiny “for who you are, imperfections and all.”
In an industry where people are constantly performing and trying to appear perfect, having someone who accepts your flaws is probably priceless.
The way Lizzy ended her post though – “Please do not let any weapon in the form of humans separate us again”.
