Super Eagles’ camp for their significant 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Rwanda in Kigali has seen the team treated to a musical show by Nigeria’s Afrobeats artist, Wizkid.

With the appointment of Eric Chelle as the new head coach of the team, the Super Eagles started training under him on Tuesday. The team is ready for a very important match that can determine their World Cup qualification process.

Wizkid went to his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Wednesday to show his appreciation for the team’s spirit and energy under Chelle’s guidance.

“New Super Eagles team! [I] am enjoying the energies,” the music icon tweeted, indicating his excitement over the team’s potential.

The much-hyped game is to be held at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali at 5 PM Nigerian time on Friday, March 21. Fans across Nigeria and anywhere else are eager to lay eyes on the Super Eagles on the field, looking forward to a good performance.

Following their match against Rwanda, Nigeria returns home to host Zimbabwe in Uyo on Tuesday, March 26. Both games are crucial to the Super Eagles as they strive to garner maximum points and strengthen their standing in the World Cup qualifying process.

Having struggled in previous qualifying campaigns, these games are so crucial for the team. With fans like Wizkid and millions of Nigerian supporters on their backs, the Super Eagles will most probably leave everything on the pitch as they battle to secure a spot at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
