Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has responded in a more playful tone after singer Adekunle Gold playfully compared her to Big Brother Naija housemate Imisi, implying that the two women are crazy and colorful in temperament.
Adekunle had tweeted on X (previously Twitter), “Imisi na Wumi Toriola. Awon werey meji,” which is a translation for “Imisi and Wumi Toriola two crazy ones.”.
To the teasing jabs, Wumi responded in kind, humorously claiming she’s reformed. “Big fish, I don repent fah. Since the beginning of dis year, na gentle lady I be,” she posted, couched in a healthy measure of sass and self-awareness.
The good-natured joshing soon had fans racing to engage in the play-fighting and thanking both celebrities for their sense of humor and their humanity on social media.
