Two weeks after announcing his separation from his wife, actress Annie Macaulay-Idibia, Nigerian music star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has publicly declared his love for Edo State politician Natasha Osawaru. His unexpected appearance at the Edo State House of Assembly during a plenary session on Monday sparked widespread speculation about his relationship with Osawaru, who serves as the Deputy Majority Leader.
Addressing the viral video of his visit, 2Baba dismissed claims of infidelity, labeling them as “fake news.” However, in a video shared on Tuesday night, he confirmed his romantic relationship with Osawaru, stating his intention to marry her and emphasizing that Annie fully understands the situation.
“To whom it may concern, I have spoken my truth. Feel free to continue alleging whatever you want,” 2Baba said. “Natasha is a young, brilliant, and amazing woman who has been unfairly labeled a homewrecker. She had nothing to do with what happened between Annie and me. Yes, I love her; she’s amazing and cool. I want to marry her.”
Despite making the bold declaration, the singer later deleted the video—just as he did with his initial divorce announcement—leaving fans speculating about the future of his new relationship.
