Nigerian Afrobeats artist Asake has finally broken his silence after a viral video of Fatai Odunsi, a man who claims to be his biological father, went viral begging for financial assistance after falling ill with a stroke.
Rather than directly addressing the controversy, the ‘Terminator’ artist turned to TikTok with a soul message accompanied by a song. He reflected on the impossibility of pleasing everyone and emphasized that one should aim to please God.
“You can’t please everyone, you can’t please the world,” he sang. “But whatever you do, just do it for God.”
