Nigerian socialite Bobrisky has taken a swipe at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), labeling them as the “most wicked set of people in Nigeria.” The controversial celebrity made the remarks while reacting to the Commission’s plea for empathy after one of its officials was killed during a raid in Anambra State.
In a series of posts shared on his Instagram stories, Bobrisky accused the EFCC of hypocrisy, stating, “I just don’t like reading anything about EFCC online because I feel like throwing up each time I read about them. You are asking the public to be human about the loss of one of your staff, but you are the most wicked people in Nigeria.”
Bobrisky also recounted his personal experience with the EFCC, recalling how he was detained and his home was searched following allegations of money laundering.
He wrote, “When I was in your custody, you took me to my house and searched it.
When I asked why, you claimed I was into money laundering and wanted to check if I was printing money in my house.
Police are better than you all one million times!”
