Halima Amira Junaid, granddaughter of former President Muhammadu Buhari, is getting ready to marry Walid Shehu Mauzu in Kaduna State.
Halima is the daughter of Nana Hadiza, one of Buhari’s daughters from a previous marriage.
Hadiza is currently married to former Attorney-General Abubakar Malami (SAN) as his third wife.
She was previously married to Captain Junaid Abdullahi, and they had six children together, including Halima.
According to report, the wedding fatiha is scheduled for August 30, 2025, with several pre-wedding events planned, including a bridal soiree, Kamu ceremony, and a grand dinner.
Notable members of the former first family were not present at the pre-wedding celebrations.
