Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy has fired back at claims that he promised a Lamborghini to his estranged associate, Sophia Egbueje, but never followed through. The controversy erupted after a leaked voice note surfaced online, allegedly revealing Sophia’s frustration over the unfulfilled promise.
According to the leaked conversation, she claimed Burna Boy had assured her of the luxury car following an intimate encounter but later failed to deliver. Feeling deceived, she reportedly cut ties with him and never mentioned the issue again—until now.
Responding to the viral allegations, Burna Boy took to his Instagram story with a playful clapback while announcing his arrival in Kenya.
In a lighthearted tone, he sang, “I have reached Kenya, mehn. No do, I told you. If you don’t get me, forget about it. I didn’t buy Lambo, is that why you’re shouting?”
