Nigerian socialite Cubana Chief Priest took a swipe at Burna Boy following his loss at the 67th Grammy Awards, where Tems clinched the Best African Music Performance category.
Burna Boy, alongside Tems, Asake, and Wizkid, was nominated for the award, but Tems emerged victorious.
Reacting to the outcome, Cubana Chief Priest posted on his Instagram story, suggesting that Tems would not have won if Sean Diddy Combs (“Diddy”) had not been in legal trouble. He humorously remarked, “If to say Diddy dey outside, dem for use Johnson baby oil rub away her Grammy.”
Burna Boy has faced ongoing jests about his connection with Diddy, who is currently facing legal issues, including allegations related to sexual exploitation.
