The Dennis Aikoriogie Foundation has identified Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, as being exemplary in leadership, revolutionary governance, and mentorship in nation-building.
The foundation, in a statement published in Abuja, applauded Wike’s bold reforms and infrastructural developments since assumption of office, mentioning concrete progress in urban regeneration, rehabilitation of roads, and administrative efficiency in the capital city.
The founder of the foundation, Dr. Dennis Aikoriogie, described the award as “a symbolic tribute to visionary leadership that has made a visible and lasting impact,” specifically with regards to Wike’s mode of governance and political mentorship.
“Abuja has seen a new dawn under the stewardship of Minister Wike,” said Aikoriogie. “Public places have been improved, and perennial bottlenecks are being tackled with urgency and precision.”.
Aikoriogie also highlighted the personal contribution of the minister towards providing advice in the recent Edo State governorship election, terming Wike’s mentorship and support a turning point.
He was impressed by the minister’s detribalized philosophy, merit-based leadership, and peoples-oriented politics, noting: “He supports the right individuals for the right reasons, regardless of tribe, religion, or political leaning.”
The foundation valued Wike’s efforts to enhance national unity, promote future leaders, and provide integrity in governance.
