Nigerian media personality Do2dtun has revealed why he refuses to ignore online trolls, breaking away from the typical celebrity playbook of staying silent.
The beloved radio host says engaging with negative comments isn’t about ego, it’s about staying authentic and finding emotional release.
“I’m human before anything else,” Do2dtun shared. “If someone disrespects me online, I respond the same way I would face-to-face. It clears my mind and keeps me real.”
Unlike many public figures who feel pressured to rise above online negativity, Do2dtun admits that silence doesn’t always serve him.
Instead, he’s learned to clap back thoughtfully, making sure his responses come from a calm, rational place rather than raw emotion.
“Some people I just block, but sometimes responding actually helps,” he explained. “When I engage, it’s from understanding, not pride.”
The energetic broadcaster believes that owning his truth, flaws and all, has made him mentally stronger.
By refusing to pretend he’s unbothered, he’s found a healthier way to handle both public criticism and personal struggles.
“Everyone expects celebrities to stay quiet and take it, but I’ve grown by being honest about how I feel,” he said.
“I don’t fake being tough. I deal with things as they come, and that’s what keeps me grounded.”
