Entrepreneurial billionaire Elon Musk rebutted claims of cutting child support payments made by Ashley St. Clair.
Rebutting in an X (Twitter) post, St. Clair claimed Musk cut her 60% percent, forcing her to sell her Cybertruck to pay the bills. The claims quickly spiralled on the net, fuelling the subject hot.
Now, Musk has addressed the claims in an Instagram post, revealing that he has already given St. Clair $2.5 million and continues to provide her with $500,000 per year.
“I don’t know if the child is mine or not, but I’m not against finding out,” Musk wrote. “Despite not knowing for sure, I’ve given Ashley $2.5 million and am sending her $500,000 yearly.”
