Etinosa Idemudia Calls Out Frederick Leonard After He Blocks Her on Instagram

Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has openly criticized her colleague, Frederick Leonard, after he unexpectedly blocked her on Instagram. The drama started when Etinosa left a playful comment under a video Frederick posted, where he was seen singing and dancing with his crew after a long day on set.

In her remark, she jokingly pointed out the irony of him motivating his team while allegedly mistreating crew members on other people’s productions. However, her comment didn’t sit well with Frederick, who quickly responded by blocking her. Upset by his reaction, Etinosa took to Instagram to vent her frustration, insisting that her comment was harmless and only reflected the truth.

She didn’t hold back, even cursing him in her post, saying, “Thunder fire you.”

She went on to accuse Frederick of portraying himself as a kind-hearted person in public while allegedly treating crew members poorly behind the scenes. According to her, many crew members avoid working with him because of his attitude, and his decision to block her was just an attempt to escape accountability.

In a fiery Instagram post, she called him out directly:

“Dear Frederick Leonard,

You blocked me just because I made a simple joke? If you didn’t like it, you could have deleted the comment or sent me a DM to say, ‘Haba, babe, I don’t like that,’ and I would have apologized and removed it immediately. It was never meant to hurt you, but I guess it did—because it’s the truth!

Thunder fire you. You can block me to sleep better at night, but you can’t block the voice in your head telling you the truth. The truth is bitter.

Crew members are human beings! Stop treating them like animals while making clout-chasing videos to look good. A lot of crew members refuse jobs when they hear you’re involved. That says a lot.

Only a real friend will tell you when your mouth stinks. You’ve blocked your sister too. Keep blocking, my dear.”

She later admitted that her mother often warns her about her jokes, acknowledging that not everyone finds them funny. In a follow-up post, she offered a subtle apology, saying:

“I truly apologize to my big brother and former friend, Frederick. This thing pains me, I won’t lie. Kilagbe kileju. It is well.”
