First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has expanded its presence with the opening of a new branch in Ogbomoso, a development that is poised to boost financial inclusion and economic growth in the region. Located on the Ogbomoso-Ilorin highway, the branch was launched on March 12 in a ceremony attended by local leaders, including the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Ghandi Olaoye.
Speaking during the ceremony, the monarch described the arrival of the bank as a milestone for the town.

Honourable Seun Ojo, Chairman, Ogo-Oluwa Local Government, also agreed, saying that FCMB’s expansion would enhance financial accessibility as well as economic growth in the region. On behalf of FCMB Managing Director, Mrs. Yemisi Edun, FCMB National Head of Sales, Mr. Emmanuel Comla, echoed FCMB’s commitment to local business development as well as economic growth.
