Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu, paid courtesy visits to former military leaders General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (rtd) and General Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd) at their residences in Minna, Niger State, on Tuesday. Accompanied by the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima, Senator Tinubu visited General Babangida to check on his well-being and discuss matters of mutual interest.
She later proceeded to the residence of General Abdulsalami Abubakar for a similar engagement. General Abubakar, joined by his wife, former First Lady Justice Fati Abubakar, expressed gratitude for the visit, describing it as a heartwarming gesture. He commended the First Lady for her concern about his health and welfare.
