Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has responded sharply to a social media user who criticized her for using a common plastic bag to package food for guests.
The controversy started after Akindele posted a Snapchat video showing how she hosted crew members at her home.
Before they left, she packed food items for them in a typical yellow and black plastic bag.
While many followers commended her generosity, one user questioned her choice of packaging, writing: “Aunty Funke you are not posh at all. Why yellow and black nylon?”
The actress quickly fired back with a sarcastic reply: “Oh, maybe I need to go and get plastic bags from Macy’s or Nordstrom. Elenu shipoti, you can come and buy nylon for me. I already blocked you.
