House of Representatives Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu has sent warm congratulations to Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 65th birthday, celebrated on September 21, 2025.
In a release made in Abuja by his Special Assistant on Press Matters, Udora Orizu, Kalu described the First Lady as a women inspiration, a kind hearted leader, and a capable pillar of support to President Bola Tinubu.
He praised Senator Tinubu’s passion for the empowerment of youths and women, highlighting her numerous initiatives and pet projects that have continued to impact lives across the nation.
Kalu specifically commended her advocacy for the reserved seats bill aimed at boosting gender inclusion and bridging political representation gaps.
“Senator Oluremi Tinubu has dedicated her life to selfless service in public and private life. Her persistent advocacy on the girl child, her constructive contributions towards education, and her intervention to empower women and the underprivileged are simply marvelous,” he said.
The Deputy Speaker also praised her on her legislative achievement in her tenure in the Senate, and the National Assembly remains proud of her legacy.
He wished God to continue to direct her, strengthen her, and give her good health, and that she kept being an inspiration and a source of hope and leadership to Nigerian women.
