Kanye West Reveals His Son Saint Inspired the Title of His Upcoming Album ‘Bully’

Kanye “Ye” West has revealed that his 9-year-old son’s behavior was the inspiration behind the title of his upcoming album, Bully.

The rapper made this revelation during an appearance on Justin LaBoy’s The Download podcast, where he discussed various topics, including his highly anticipated project. Bully marks Ye’s first solo album in over three years.

When asked about the album’s title, Kanye explained that it stemmed from an encounter involving his son, Saint West, whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

“My son was playing with some kid, and then he kicked him,” Ye recalled. “I asked my son, ‘Why did you do that?’ He said, ‘Because he weak.’”

“I was like, This man is really a bully right here,” Ye laughed.

Host Justin LaBoy joined in on the laughter, jokingly declaring, “Saint, you the reason for Bully.” As Ye continued sharing Saint’s habit of kicking and pushing other kids, Justin quipped, “I wonder where he get that from, which parent. Definitely a young Ye.”

However, many social media users found Kanye’s comments unsettling, labeling them “weird” and “disgusting.”

“He’s proud to have raised a bully smh,” one person commented.

“As if your child kicking another child who seemed ‘weak’ is something to brag on. Disgusting,” another user wrote.

This controversy comes months after Saint West’s YouTube account was taken down following two disrespectful posts aimed at Kamala Harris during her presidential campaign.

In one post, Saint referred to Harris using offensive language, while another featured an illustration suggesting she was something unpleasant that had been stepped on. Another clip showed a GIF of the Saved by the Bell cast labeling Harris as “dumb,” “stupid,” “crazy,” and “dangerous.”
