Nigerian rapper Lil Kesh is recovering in hospital after being stabbed during an alleged robbery attempt in Lagos on Wednesday.
The incident happened when unknown attackers reportedly tried to steal the artist’s jewelry.
During the struggle, Keshinro Ololade was stabbed in the neck and ear, causing deep wounds.
Images of his injuries spread quickly on social media, causing widespread concern among fans.
He was taken to hospital where doctors stitched his wounds and stabilized his condition.
The 30-year-old rapper addressed the attack on his Instagram story, describing it as unexpected but expressing gratitude for his survival.
“Life threw me a curveball, but I’m safe, healing, and blessed to be here. Grateful for the love, support and prayers,” he wrote.
His update has reassured fans, who have been sending prayers and messages of support across social media platforms.
