A physical confrontation erupted between a female student and a lecturer during an examination at Niger Delta University in Bayelsa State.
Witnesses say the incident began when the lecturer caught the student cheating and told her to leave the exam hall.
The student refused, insisting her confiscated phone be returned first before she would go.
The situation escalated when the student allegedly broke the lecturer’s phone, leading to a physical fight between them. A viral video shows another school official trying to get the student to leave, but she remained determined to get her phone back first.
The university has not yet released any official statement about the incident.
