Mo Bimpe Handles Online Harassment with Class While Promoting New Film

Nollywood actress Adebimpe Oyebade, who goes by Mo Bimpe, faced a particularly nasty form of online harassment this week, but her response has become a masterclass in handling trolls with dignity.

While busy promoting her upcoming movie “Miracle,” Mo Bimpe received a deeply cruel message from an anonymous user who decided to attack her on one of the most personal levels possible – her reproductive choices and timeline.

The troll used extremely hurtful language, making derogatory comments about her not having children yet and even suggesting that divine intervention would be needed for her to conceive.

The person went so far as to make apocalyptic jokes about her potential motherhood.

Mo Bimpe chose not to suffer in silence, sharing a screenshot of the message on Instagram to expose the kind of harassment many women in the spotlight regularly endure.

What made Mo Bimpe’s reaction remarkable wasn’t just that she called out the behavior – it was how she did it. Rather than responding with anger or hurt, she chose to educate and redirect.

She pointed out the contradiction in the troll’s behavior, revealing that the same person who sent the hateful public message was simultaneously reaching out privately, asking for help and showing admiration.

This flip-flopping, she noted, revealed the confused and frustrated nature behind such attacks.

“See the nuisance stressing my fans,” she wrote. “The fool is in my DM switching from being a hater to a fan, even begging for help. A confused maggot.”

But then she pivoted to what really mattered: “My amazing fans, I see how y’all got angry with the comments, don’t worry too much. This one isn’t worth it. Let’s focus on Miracle, which drops today by 2 pm!”
