Gospel singer and pastor Nathaniel Bassey has announced he will mark his 44th birthday by visiting inmates at Kirikiri Medium Security Prison in Lagos.
The worship leader shared on Instagram that he plans to bring a special one-day edition of his popular Halleluyah Challenge program to the prison, aiming to encourage the inmates through praise and worship.
“Tomorrow for my birthday, I praise and celebrate with my brethren in prison,” he posted.
The Halleluyah Challenge, which Bassey launched in 2017, has become one of Africa’s largest online worship gatherings.
The program brings together thousands of Christians for nightly praise sessions and has generated numerous testimonies of healing and answered prayers from participants across the continent.
