NNPP Poised for Stronger Comeback in 2025 – National Publicity Secretary

The New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Oladiipo Johnson, believes the party will be getting stronger and stronger in the fourth quarter of 2025. In a private conversation with the LEADERSHIP in Osogbo yesterday, shortly after the Fidau prayers for the late Special Adviser to the Kano State Government on Yoruba Affairs, Alhaji Abdullateef Abiola Abdulsalam (Triple A), the former Commissioner spoke about the efforts at repositioning the party.

He kicked off the NNPP, for the year-end elections of 2023, after keeping itself occupied in restructuring its machinery while conducting off-season elections throughout the country and preparing to conduct subsequent elections in the states of Anambra, Ekiti, and Osun. In addition, he announced the party’s national leadership led by Hon. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso in negotiations with other prominent Nigerian political figures with the aim of creating tactical partnerships for the strengthening of the NNPP.

Earlier in his speech during the Fidau prayers, Imam Lukman Akolapo portrayed the late Abdulsalam as a committed Muslim, a responsible family man, as well as an unselfish humanitarian. Osun State chairman of the NNPP, Dr. Tosin Odeyemi, also recognized Abdulsalam, praising his integrity, intelligence, and unwavering dedication to the party. Dr. Odeyemi recalled Abdulsalam’s contributions to the progress of the NNPP in Osun state and the country at large as well as his work as Special Adviser to the Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf.
