Music promoter Paulo has addressed recent comments made by Nigerian singer Spyro, who claimed he did not earn any money during his time signed to Paulo’s record label. In a recent interview, Spyro shared that he was signed to a label owned by Paulo but did not make any profit over the two years he was under contract. Spyro explained that, despite being signed to the label, he often found himself borrowing money from Paulo whenever he needed financial help. He described Paulo as a kind person, but noted that he believes Paulo lacks the understanding of how to manage a record label effectively.
In response, Paulo took to his Instagram story to clarify the situation. He revealed that he had made payments on Spyro’s behalf during the course of their partnership. Paulo further disclosed that he had spent a total of N12 million on the singer but unfortunately did not see any return on his investment.
