Street-pop singer Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has caused new controversy after his collaboration with Nollywood actor Zubby Michael and going live on social media with a video of their meeting.
Portable in the video alleged that individuals had offered to “fix” activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) for ₦10 million. Zeh Nation leader, however, rejected the offer, demanding a staggering ₦1 billion instead.
Addressing VDM as a “small boy,” Portable braggged about his wealth, might, and divine backing, stating he would do it only for the price. He ordered Zubby to instruct businessman Soso to increase the bid, as Zubby smiling all the while promised to pass on the message.
Fans reacted with skepticism, with most instructing Zubby to watch his phone and speculating what he was actually thinking by his smiling face.
This new saga comes in the wake of Portable dared his ex-boss, who had accused him of stealing in a viral video, and gave the ex-boss an ultimatum within 24 hours to retract the claim.
