Actor Terrence Howard made a public complaint about what he called the “dark side of Hollywood,” claiming a confrontation with music mogul Sean “Diddy“ Combs that left him uneasy. Talking on a visit to the PBD Podcast by Patrick Bet-David, Howard related a story that he said happened when Diddy invited him over on the basis of taking acting lessons. According to Howard, the entire process turned unusual almost immediately.
“He didn’t have any material, nothing to work on,” Howard recalled, alleging that Diddy simply stared at him and later asked him to play music—only to continue watching him. “Nothing was accomplished,” he added.
Howard claimed that a subsequent invitation made him realize that Diddy’s intentions were not professional. “That’s when I knew he didn’t want acting lessons — he wanted something else,” the Empire star said. He emphasized that while he felt targeted, he is not accusing Diddy of any wrongdoing.
“I knew what was going on. He wanted to have sex with me,” Howard said during the podcast. “A lot of people give up their man card to make it in Hollywood. I never did. I refused.”
The news came as a shock to Bet-David, who had asked about the ill side of the entertainment world without naming people. Howard‘s response led him to name Diddy specifically, who is currently in the midst of a series of legal troubles and accusations of misconduct by different parties. Diddy has not responded to the remarks made by Howard, and to this point, no formal charges have been laid in connection with this particular claim.
