Trump Mulling Diddy Pardon: Decision on Music Mogul’s Prison Sentence Could Come This Week

Donald Trump is reportedly considering commuting Sean “Diddy” Combs’ prison sentence, and sources say a decision could drop within days.

According to TMZ, a senior White House insider revealed that Trump has been going back and forth on the issue. While some advisers are pushing back, the source made it clear: “Trump will do what he wants.”

The 55-year-old music mogul is currently serving 50 months for two counts of transportation for prostitution, after beating sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

With 13 months already behind bars, Diddy was looking at roughly two more years, but a commutation would set him free immediately.

After his sentencing earlier this month, Diddy’s legal team reportedly contacted a Trump ally in the White House to explore clemency options.

Trump confirmed he’d heard about it. Speaking to reporters on October 6, he said: “I have had a lot of people ask me for pardons. I call him Puff Daddy, he has asked me for a pardon.”

The timing is notable. Just days ago, on October 18, Trump commuted the sentence of former Congressman George Santos, who was serving 87 months for wire fraud and identity theft.
