Social critic Vincent Martins Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), has fired back at relationship blogger Solomon Buchi over comments regarding gospel singer Mercy Chinwo-Blessed and her former boss, EeZee T.
VDM revealed that Solomon reached out to him on Instagram to ask if he had heard Mercy’s side of the controversy.
In response, VDM shared screenshots of their conversation, accusing Mercy of using her influence with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to get EeZee T (real name Ezekiel ThankGod Onyedikachukwu) arrested.
According to VDM, EeZee T was forced to transfer $274,000 to Mercy before he was released.
He questioned whether Solomon was aware of this development and further alleged that Mercy continued earning money under contract with the record label but refused to remit the funds.
VDM also accused Mercy of using bloggers to sway public opinion against EeZee T.
He stated that Solomon himself had claimed EeZee T received more than $3,500 from Mercy, but implied that his narrative was shaped by Mercy’s version of events.
Confirming that EeZee T’s complaint against Mercy for breaching their contract was valid, VDM argued that Mercy was not being completely honest about the situation.
VDM announced that the legal battle between Mercy Chinwo and EeZee T is scheduled for February 14, 2025, and hinted that he might attend. He also challenged Solomon Buchi to respond to his claims.
In a video, VDM further alleged that Mercy was manipulating the Christian community to shield herself from accountability in her dealings with EeZee Conceptz, the record label owned by EeZee T.
