Nollywood actor Monsuru Ayanfe has revealed an interesting encounter with leading actress Funke Akindele, which he classified as one of his most unforgettable experiences in the industry.
In a chat with Jeff Owolewa, Monsuru revealed that he once damaged Funke’s new car after a movie shoot. He said that he had accidentally crashed the car while attempting to park it.
He recalled that although Funke had initially replied angrily, she later apologized to him a surprising turn that caught him unawares.
Monsuru also reminisced about his struggling days in his career and his friendship with actor Femi Adebayo. He narrated how at the time, Adebayo was paid ₦20,000 as salary and would offer him ₦5,000 from it, an act of goodwill that kept him going while he began in humility.
