A Federal High Court in Lagos has issued an arrest warrant against Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu, popularly known as Eezee Conceptz, the former manager of renowned gospel singer Mercy Chinwo. Justice Alexander Owoeye granted the warrant on Thursday after an ex parte motion was filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
According to an affidavit submitted by EFCC investigator Michael Idoko, the commission acted on a petition from Mercy Chinwo accusing Onyedikachukwu of financial misconduct. She alleged that her former manager had been secretly collecting royalties from her digital platforms and events without remitting her share.
The singer claims that approximately $345,000 was diverted. Despite multiple efforts, the EFCC has been unable to apprehend Onyedikachukwu, leading to the request for a court-ordered warrant.
