Jim Iyke’s Movie ‘Light in the Dark’ Removed by YouTube, Actor Uploads Edited Version

Trending Nollywood star Jim Iyke has confirmed that YouTube recently removed his new movie, Light in the Dark, after it had gotten more than 600,000 views.

The film was reportedly reported and removed for containing some scenes as inappropriate.

Handling the issue, Jim Iyke explained that the movie has since been re-edited and reposted, requesting supporters to re-stream it, even if they have watched it previously.

Talking in a video address, the actor demonstrated his resilience, affirming setbacks do not temper his attitude. He emphasized his commitment to staying optimistic and continuing in the face of adversity.

Jim Iyke also shared past experiences with YouTube, citing losing a channel with over a million viewers after it was flagged. In spite of the loss, he worked even harder and regained his profile on the site.

With an appreciation of the hard work by his team, he admitted that such failures would be demoralizing but reinforced the importance of resilience in the entertainment sector.
