The investigation into the tragic death of Nigerian artist Mohbad has taken a new turn as a non-profit organization headed by Larry Omodia, founder of African Television, calls for renewed police scrutiny. The NGO is specifically requesting authorities to investigate three individuals close to the late artist: his wife Olawunmi, his brother Adura Aloba, and an associate named Damola.
At the center of this latest development is a TikTok conversation involving Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi, which the organization believes could shed light on the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s untimely passing.
The NGO is pushing for thorough forensic analysis of the devices belonging to the named individuals. The death of Mohbad (born Ilerioluwa Aloba) on September 24, 2023, sent shockwaves through Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
Despite ongoing investigations spanning several months, the exact cause of his death remains undetermined.
