The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has deployed 1,700 corps members to Bauchi State for the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 orientation exercise.
Mr. Jacob Unogwu, NYSC State Public Relations Officer, made this known to newsmen in Bauchi. Registration of the potential corps members, he said, will be done between July 30 and midnight of July 31 at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Wailo, Ganjuwa Local Government Area.
Unogwu stated that the swearing-in ceremony would be on August 1, while the orientation programme would run until August 19.
He made it clear that only graduates who had been certified would be allowed into the camp, as they would conduct a rigorous screening exercise to prevent impersonation and ensure the safety of all participants. “All the prospective corps members are expected to adhere strictly to the registration timetable and camp rules. Defaulters will be sanctioned appropriately in line with NYSC regulations,” he said.
He also warned against late-night traveling, requesting corps members to report early enough to guarantee their safety.
Unogwu also appealed to participants to observe the official dress code and maintain discipline throughout the orientation exercise.
