Veteran Nollywood star Segun Arinze has taken a clear stance on recent discussions about homosexuality in Nigeria’s film industry. During a candid interview with Arise TV, the 59-year-old actor distanced himself from such practices while maintaining a live-and-let-live attitude toward his colleagues’ personal lives.
“I do not bend over, so I cannot react to it,” Arinze stated bluntly when asked about the allegations. “Well if they do bend over, they should keep bending. That is their problem.”
The respected actor emphasized his focus on professionalism and his career, choosing to stay out of discussions about his colleagues’ private lives.
“They are adults and they have a right to do whatever they want to do. It is none of my business,” he remarked.
Maintaining his characteristic straightforward approach, Arinze concluded by highlighting his priorities: “I am not going to concern myself with that.
I do not like those flashbacks, I like living my life straightforward, doing my business, and being the professional that I am.”
