Known for his provocative online persona, the singer shared a post on Instagram that read:
“Who wants to marry me ladies? you already know if you are loyal and faithful to me it’s you that will be tired of bags because if I can give myself many handbag and I’m not even a female, you know I’m gonna flood you with handbags. looking for a wife between 15 and 23 years old virgin.”
The comments have drawn widespread condemnation, especially in light of a previous controversy involving allegations of inappropriate conduct with a minor, an incident that reportedly led to his invitation by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).
Child rights advocates and legal experts have strongly denounced the post, highlighting that any attempt to marry or solicit marriage with individuals under the age of 18 constitutes a criminal offense under Nigeria’s Child Rights Act. The law strictly prohibits child marriage and protects minors from exploitation.
