The 24-year-old Brazilian forward, who has two years left on his current contract, was reportedly a target for Saudi Pro League clubs willing to offer Real Madrid a staggering £200 million—the same record-breaking fee PSG paid for Neymar in 2017.
However, speaking ahead of the highly anticipated Madrid derby in the Champions League, Vinicius shut down the rumors, expressing his desire to extend his stay at the club.
“I am very calm because my contract lasts until 2027, and I hope to renew my contract as soon as possible because I am happy here,” he said.
