Nina Santiago and Patrick Blackwood thought they were having a normal day filming their YouTube food review at Cuvee Culinary Creations in Houston.
They were sitting at their table, cameras rolling, discussing the dishes in front of them when their world suddenly exploded.
An SUV came crashing through the restaurant’s front window without warning.
In the viral footage, you can see the moment everything changes, one second they’re chatting about food, the next, glass is flying everywhere as the vehicle tears through tables and chairs.
Blackwood’s instincts kicked in immediately.
Without hesitation, he pushed Santiago out of harm’s way, shielding her from the debris as chaos erupted around them.
Other diners and staff stood frozen in shock, trying to process what had just happened.
“Tomorrow Is Not Promised,” Santiago wrote when she shared the terrifying footage on social media. “Glass Shatters Everywhere! SUV Crashes Through Window While We Eat. Near Death Experience.”
The video shows just how close they came to serious injury, or worse. The SUV’s path took it directly past where they had been sitting moments before.
Remarkably, no one was seriously hurt in the crash.
