Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has made a significant career move by signing a two-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain Féminine. The 25-year-old forward joined the French club as a free agent after leaving Atlético de Madrid at the end of last season.
PSG announced the signing on Tuesday, confirming that Ajibade’s contract runs until June 30, 2027, with an option to extend.
“I’m deeply honored to be joining Paris Saint-Germain, a top club in Europe.
This is a major step for me, and I’m committed to giving my all to help PSG win titles and to inspire young footballers, whether in Nigeria or elsewhere,” Ajibade said about her move.
The Nigerian striker spent three years at Atlético de Madrid after joining them in 2021 from Norwegian club Avaldsnes IL. Last season, she appeared in 25 matches, scoring eight goals and registering three assists.
