Oyo South Senatorial District Representative Senator Sharafadeen Alli has overseen Nigerians to mark the country’s 65th Independence celebration, calling for citizens to be optimistic, patriotic, and committed to upholding the country’s national oneness.
While sending a goodwill message on Wednesday in Ibadan, Alli described Independence Day as a reminder of the Nigerian spirit of resilience, self-denial, and determination to live together peacefully, lovingly, and harmoniously.
We must reaffirm to build a prosperous, diverse, and equal society where every citizen can thrive regardless of status, religion, or provenance. That is what freedom is all about,” he said.
The politician commended President Bola Tinubu for leadership, saying his administration took great strides in stabilising the economy, re-igniting confidence, and laying a solid foundation for long-term growth.
The President has taken bold actions to stabilize the economy and restore confidence in our national institutions. His determination ushers in a new dawn of hope for all Nigerians,” Alli stated.
He proceeded to urge Nigerians to remain supportive of the Tinubu administration, stating that although there were issues, progress was being made step by step.
